The LEDs are on a ceramic carrier and very easy to break. They will be very well packed. The tips of the LEDs are very good to solder. They are fun to work with and you can design nice design projects. The LEDs can work with AC or DC. I suggest DC to avoid flicker. Use proper current control, they are easy to overload.
